I couldn’t pass up a shiny ornament without taking a reflection shot!And… apparently I need to check my blog for comments more often – had a bunch and I didn’t even realize it. I hope to focus more attention on my blog in the new year. For now I will shower you with Christmas photos. More to come.

Her snippets of Alaska life are what first caught my eye – those snowy walks through the woods, a fisherman lining up his catch. But as I explored Leaca’s stream more I found images evoking warmth and cheer that just make me feel at home. It seems her images all have a story behind them; they draw you in and make you want to know more. Thanks, Leaca, for inspiring me. -

As much as I love flowers, I really do love winter too. There is something so peaceful and calm about a fresh snowfall. I took this shot at the farm where we got our Christmas tree this year.
