I love my macro lens.
I love the details it captures.
The things you might normally miss.
Plus I love Photoshop, for its ability to transform bright, gaudy colors into something more lucious.

Your pictures inspire me so much. I just got my first macro-lens, and I’m getting to know it shot by shot – and I love it.
Could you give some tips as to what you normally do in photoshot to help me improve my shots.
Take care and happy New Year

Hi Jess, thanks so much for the kind words. My best advice is to shoot RAW because if gives you a lot more room for adjustment, take lots and lots of pictures of lots of different things, experiment with Photoshop actions (there are tons of free ones to be had if you look around) and break the actions apart so you get to understand what they do. Hope that helps…
Okay – I’ll try that.
I actually stopped shooting RAW because they take up so much space, but maybe I should start doing it again.
Thanks so much for your input :o)
Love your blog.
Take care
Jess
