I got to do some valentine-themed shots recently. I just loved how the lollipop was backlit by the sun as it was going down. I added this image to my Etsy shop, and I’m hoping to do a few more in the next couple of weeks.

forgive me, i’m blog-stupid
I don’t typically make new year’s resolutions; that way I don’t break them. 🙂 But this year I have a few, including being the best mom I can be to my children and taking my photography to the next level. Sometimes those things collide – sometimes in a good way, but sometimes not. I need to work on the balance…
Anyway, as part of my photography goal, I’d like to get my blog on track and make it enjoyable. I want to figure out how I can better size my photos (yes, I realize they’re too small now) and I want to include more about myself and what I’m doing rather than simply what’s for sale in my shop. I’d love to do weekly features and showcase some of my own favorite photographers. Lots of big plans. I hope you stick around!

But as I explored Leaca’s stream more I found images evoking warmth and cheer that just make me feel at home.
