{"id":539,"date":"2011-07-20T21:54:24","date_gmt":"2011-07-21T03:54:24","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/shannonblue.com\/blog\/?p=539"},"modified":"2011-09-12T17:53:38","modified_gmt":"2011-09-12T23:53:38","slug":"the-robin","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/shannonblue.com\/blog\/539\/personal\/the-robin\/","title":{"rendered":"the robin"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Earlier this spring, a robin couple decided to build their nest on our light fixture right outside our kitchen door, much to the delight of my daughter. \u00a0They spent quite a bit of time getting the nest just right.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-544\" title=\"mama robin\" src=\"https:\/\/shannonblue.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/07\/20110512_071220_edited.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"399\" srcset=\"https:\/\/shannonblue.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/07\/20110512_071220_edited.jpg 600w, https:\/\/shannonblue.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/07\/20110512_071220_edited-300x199.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Whenever I saw a chance, I would check for eggs by standing on a chair and taking my picture with my iPhone over the nest. \u00a0It was fun to watch as we went from one egg, to two, to four, then to four little fluffy gray babies.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-540\" title=\"robin nest -
